"Loving this group. I was a casual rider, about 8-13 miles now and then, but these ladies encouraged me to take on a 25 mile ride in Long Beach. This was the longest ride I have ever attempted and it was so much fun. The group was very supportive to all that attended that ride. No, I was not the only first timer to attempt this ride as there was a young lady who purchased her bike a couple of days prior to the ride. They embraced everyone. Riding is so rewarding. These ladies rock."

"5 to 6 years. 47 countries, bicycle, tent, sleeping bag, violin and dog. I am giving away all my possessions and living as a vagabond...It's definitely a lifestyle change. Minimalism, multiculturalism and sustainability...Scary moments are a part of the adventure. I just face them and feel triumphant after overcoming those situations. I truly appreciate BGDB. I didn't know about your network on my last trek."

"I love my bike! Out riding with BGDB and taking my selfie in my brand new BGDB jersey. I've been a road biker and a bike commuter for quite some time, but I'm having more fun than ever with the awesome BGDB women!!"

"I just want to thank you for starting BGDB. I joined BGDB Milwaukee chapter only this past summer 2015 and it has improved my health dramatically as its introduced me to wonderful women who bike and motivated me to ride with groups and to ride daily ! I previously only fatbiked occasionally in the winter since purchasing a Surly Pugsley in 2000. Prior to that , I estimate that I had only biked five times since outgrowing my little red big wheel as a toddler. ...Now it's my daily routine and I even competed in a fatbike race this past Thanksgiving weekend . For my 50th birthday, this past September, I went mountain biking . What a beautiful improvement in the quality of my life ! Thank you BGDB!"
